    Hi All,

Some body told that we can't use VIEW in an event alert. So is there any other way to do it?

Please suggest me the alternative way.

    Hi,

BIS_APPR_MSGTYPE is a view created from
SELECT lookup_code id, meaning value FROM fnd_lookup_values_vl
    WHERE lookup_type = 'BIS_PMV_APPROVAL_TYPES'.

It is under Application Object Library application.

So i went to alert manager resp and alert define. gave Application Object Library application and name and event again gave Application Object Library application. But here we are not able to see views. because it is showing only tables.

    Hi Jagadekara,
" Important: You cannot use a view as the event table for your alert. " i too found the same on some blog. May be this is useful. alternative is usage of tables .
