    Hi Yumna,

Yes Asset Life can be changed to 35,39 or 29 as per your requirement.

    below are the Points

    1. Asset life will be defined as 3 or 5 yrs based on ur category.
    2. When you create asset the life of asset will have value based on category , But you can change tat to 35 Months or 39 Months.
    3. Your depreciation will be calculated based on asset life not based on the category based.

    Hope i answered your question.

    Cheers

    Hi,

There is nothing Like Steps , Just open the Asset Specifically and change the Life of asset manually.

I Want to restrict my user so that he/she will not change life of an asset.

    Hi kamal,

Hope you doing well. During changes in depreciation on fa I found that if I can change life of particular asset at any point of time than for sure user (client) can also do these changes. Do you any work around to restrict user from doing this?

    Regards,

    Yumna.

    Hi Yumna,

Ya It can be restricted through form personalization and make tat field gray out, So no one can change that column value.

    Cheers
