Can an Oracle project track both indirect AND capital costs?

    Hello

I had a question about indirect expense and capital projects.

In Oracle Projects Costing, Is it possible to create a project that can have tasks for both indirect (expense) and capital (to track asset costs) so that, for example, task 2 in a project is used to track indirect costs and task 3 is used to track capital costs? Is this even possible or is it that a project can only be set to either track indirect costs or capital asset costs based on the project type but not both. I am using Oracle Apps 12.1.3.

    Thank you

    hi

If you disable capitaliazable check box than it consider as expness.
If you select task2 you disable capitaliazable and retirement check box it consider as expenses.

    Hi

You also use transactional control on task or project level for the purpose of track indirect cost on capital project.
