    Hi friends,
    Good Morning

They could share me the steps for configuring a Calendar in GL module?
I need to set the year 2013
What would be the steps to do this?
And also if you just set it GL with this calendar I can use the modules in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Inventory or in each of these modules is necessary to create their calendars.

    Thanks for the support
    Best Regards
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

The first thing you have to check what fiscal year that your customer use.
Some companys use 1 Jan 2013 to 31 Dec 2013 or some use 1 Apr 2013 to 31 Mar 2014.
    It depends on customer business.

Then you have to define the period type and after that the calendar.
Please check this link out for the step.
    http://orclapp.blogspot.com/2012/11/how-to-setup-gl-accounting-calendar.html

After you set Accounting Calendar in GL, you have to open the period in the sub-modules.
Then you can enter the transactions in sub-modules.

    Thanks,
    Ying
