Oracle OCA certification exam online course or study material

hi all,

the new company i just joined requires me to get an OCA certification. I was wondering whether there is any good online course available which you would kind of recommend to a friend something which is worth the money they charge for!

Also is there some good OCA study material available online? I got my hands on a more than 700 page book! It will take so long to study it completely

hi, Jamie, i have not studied for OCA but as far as I know, there's no short cuts to the exam. You have to go through the book cold which may take you around 500 hours of serious study if you've limited Oracle DBA experience.

I would recommend using the sybex book and Oracle press books which I have seen some of my friends go through together though it's a tough task as both books are more than 500 pages!

But then getting any oracle certification is not easy, but I can tell you from personal experience that it comes useful in your professional career. All the Best then!
