    ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

    Hi,

    I have problem with my database ,ie 0racle10g

    unable to connect.

    error"ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist"

    I had tryed to start it frm command prompt with the bin path as
    command:-sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
    response:-connected to an idea instance.
    command:-startup
    response:- Oracle instance started
    Command:- connect system/manager
    response:- I get the error



    Can any one let me know how to resolve it.
