Change the icons for 'Thread with new message' and 'Thread with no new message'

Hi Sadik,

It is observed that the icons for 'Thread with new message' and 'Thread with no new message' looks similar at a glance in the forum home page http://www.club-oracle.com/forums/ . ie slighly difficult to differenciate. Please make some colorfull changes to these icons to user convenience.

Also plaease add one Legend for these icon at the bottom.

Hey Raj,

Thanks for the suggestion. The first point surely can be done. I am not too sure about the legend part though. However, the icons can definitely be made self-explanatory.

Also the Icons showing in the sub forum are mismatching with that shown in the Legend section . Ses the attachment for the mismatches in red mark.

Oh no, the Legend is for the page on which threads show. Actually threads can also be created on the page where sub-forums show (the screenshot you took) that's why that legend is shown there. But we have actually disabled creating threads on the page where sub-forums are listed so that threads are created at the leaf end, in specific sub-forums.

Regarding the OP, yep I have new icons coming up for the Forums status icons which show New posts exist or not. Also those icons will be added to Legend at the bottom like you suggested.

Hi... the Status icons (forums with new posts or not) have been modified to better differentiate between them. Also a legend is added at the bottom.

Thanks for the change . But still the icon os same in Firefox though it is changed in IE.

Also it looks the new changed icon (Forum Contains New Posts) is not updated in any of the pages against the forum heading though i haven't opened those liks for last 2 days.

Please look at these issues.

You need to press CTRL+F5 to force your browser to refresh the images from site and not from cache. Try it.
