Background

Oracle Forms Personalization is a way to change the look and feel of default oracle forms without touching the forms code or the fmb files. We can change labels, make fields mandatory, hide fields, add new menus, add custom checks etc. with Forms personalization.

The video shows how on a standard Purchase Order Form, how to:

• Change Labels
• Make PO Description and Supplier Item mandatory
• Remove the Contact field
• Hide Approval Tab button
• Change Label of Approval Tab
• Change Radio Button's Positions

The on Define User form, how to

• Change initial value for password expiration and effective dates

And again, on the Purchase order form, how to

• Make Invoice matching option not updatable
• Throw error when Promise Date < Sysdate

And finally how to:

• Create additional menus
